Autonomic nervous system
The autonomic nervous system is the part of the nervous system (nerves) that controls various unconscious body functions. Examples of autonomic body processes include digestion (peristalsis) and breathing (when not consciously controlled). Autonomic Nerve Disorders can include autonomic nerve neuropathy (nerve damage), gastroparesis, diabetic gastroparesis, and other disorders.
