Peripheral Nervous System
The Peripheral Nervous System is the nerves and nervous system in the body’s peripheral limbs, i.e. in the arms and legs. This distinguishes it from the Central Nervous System (CNS) of the brain and spinal cord. Peripheral Nervous System disorders include peripheral neuropathy (diabetic peripheral neuropathy), nerve entrapment syndromes, nerve inflammations, and various other leg disorders or arm disorders. Related symptoms include tingling fingers, tingling toes, paresthesias, leg tingling, arm tingling, elbow tingling, and many other nerve symptoms.
