Normal Child Behavior
Children have a wide range of behaviors and thoughts. Not all of their statements and actions make sense to adults. This doesn’t mean that all such behaviors are abnormal. For example, there is a tendency to over-diagnosed and over-medicate children who exhibit behaviors that are active or boisterous with a diagnosis of ADHD. Consideration needs to be given to whether the behavior simply lies within the broad range of normal child behavior.
