What are Analgesics?
Analgesics are the general class of medications that reduce pain. This includes the various over-the-counter medications for minor pains such as headaches, muscle aches, and so on. It also includes the various prescription pain relievers that are available for more severe pain or chronic pain. The class may also refer to various anesthetic drugs.
